Beer Institute Names Danelle Kosmal as Vice President of Research

Beer Institute Releases May 2021 Domestic Tax Paid Estimate

WASHINGTON – Today, the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for May 2021: The May 2021 estimate is 15,000,000 barrels, an increase of 8.9% compared to May 2020 removals of 13,774,000.

Overall, the survey found that a majority of those polled reported drinking about the same amount of beer, and with approximately the same frequency, since the pandemic began.

WASHINGTON – Today, the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for April 2021: The April 2021 estimate is 14,600,000 barrels, an increase of 8.6% compared to April 2020 removals of 13,438,000. As a reminder, the Beer Institute will update each month of 2020 as the TTB releases new 2021 monthly beer reports.

As a reminder, the Beer Institute will update each month of 2020 as the TTB releases new 2021 monthly beer reports.

WASHINGTON – Today, the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for February 2021: The February 2021 estimate is 11,625,000 barrels, an increase of 2.6% compared to February 2020 removals of 11,325,000. The Beer Institute will continue to revise its 2020 estimates as the TTB continues to update its data.
