BEER INSTITUTE RELEASES AUGUST 2017 DOMESTIC TAX PAID ESTIMATE

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for August 2017:

The August 2017 estimate is 15,531,000 barrels, a decrease of 4.3% versus August 2016 removals of 16,223,000 barrels. Please note that the estimates reflect revised estimates released by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
