Beer Institute Names Ramsey Cox, Director Media Relations and Public Affairs
WASHINGTON, DC – The Beer Institute–one of the nation’s oldest trade associations representing America’s brewers, beer importers, and industry suppliers–announced today that it has named Ramsey Cox as its director of media relations and public affairs.
“I am thrilled to welcome Ramsey to the Beer Institute where she brings a wide-range of public affairs and media experience both as staff for a member of Congress and as a Capitol Hill reporter,” said Jim McGreevy, Beer Institute President and CEO. “With more than 5,000 active breweries, America’s beer industry has never been more dynamic. I look forward to working with Ramsey to tell the many stories of how our nation’s brewers and beer importers are supporting the U.S. economy, investing in our nation’s manufacturing sector, and giving back to communities across the nation.”
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Cox most recently worked for Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (D-WA) as her communications director. Before joining Congresswoman DelBene’s staff, Cox was a Senate reporter for The Hill.
