I never expected to be the face for alcohol modernization in my home state of Oklahoma. My husband started brewing craft beer, and in our state, you could only buy craft beer warm. In response, I introduced the Cold Beer Bill which allowed the refrigeration of beer in liquor stores. The original legislation ended up turning into a state question and an entire rewrite of law. It is an honor to advocate for the industry and witness the blossoming microbrewery scene in Oklahoma.
