On my last deployment in Afghanistan in 2019, Pete Coors visited the Colorado deployed troops in Afghanistan and brought us some great Coors branded shirts and hats that I finally replaced with new Coors branded items once I started working at Molson Coors’ Golden Brewery.
My favorite part of working in beer is being able to share a Coors with my fellow service members in celebratory times like coming home from deployments and promotions, but also in memoriam of those we lost. The military amplified my passion for community and volunteerism which is what I do as a Community Affairs Manager in my current job.
