The beer industry is fast-paced, results-driven, and team-oriented — in other words, the perfect match for the skills of a Marine veteran like me.
When I transitioned to civilian life after seven years of service in the Marine Corps, I was drawn to Anheuser-Busch because of its longstanding support of military service members and veterans. I’m proud to be one of the veterans and active-duty service members who make up more than 10 percent of Anheuser-Busch’s workforce, and I’m privileged to be a leader in building comradery and making sure every veteran at the company has the support they need to succeed in the beer industry.
I’m fortunate that my love of beer did not end with my stint as a home brew hobbyist, although I do hope to dust off my gear one day. I’d encourage any veteran to consider a career in beer. It’s a fun, dynamic, and challenging industry that can be particularly rewarding for those who have developed invaluable leadership skills while serving our nation in the armed forces.
